THREE girls from Newton High School talked their way to a top award after entering a public speaking competition organised by the Rotary Club of Newton-le-Willows. Kim Whittle, Lisa Molyneux and Michelle Cunneely beat four other teams -- two more from Newton High and two from St Aelred's RC High -- to clinch the first prize in the competition, which is designed to give young people the chance to speak out on a subject they believe in, in public.
