ST HELENS Learning Links Centre held its first presentation evening when nearly 100 people attended.
They have achieved 'life-long learning' qualifications in computing and basic skills since the centre opened in March, were awarded their certificates.
The Learning Links Centre is the result of a partnership between the GMB trade union, local employers and St Helens College and aims to promote learning for everyone.
The presentation was attended by Terry Hayes, regional secretary of the GMB union, and Liz Smith of the TUC National Officer Learning Services.
