WOODLEY SPORTS 6 GREAT HARWOOD 0
HARWOOD boss Denis Underwood will give his players the chance to make amends when they take on Stone Dynamoes in the Worthington Challenge Cup at the Showground tonight.
The Reds stayed in relegation trouble near the bottom of the NWCL First Division with a hammering at Woodley Sports.
But Underwood will resist the temptation to make drastic changes for tonight's second round clash against the Second Division promotion chasers-- despite his dismay at the performance.
He said: "I'm not normally one to go mad. I will give most of the lads another chance and if they don't do it I've got five days to look at bringing people in the for the league."
Harwood conceded two sloppy goals on the stroke of half-time to Kevin O'Connell and Mike Norton the visitors capitulated after the break and shipped further goals from Chris Ringland, Steve Jordan, Matt Buckley and Jason Neen.
