SOCCER: Bury manager Andy Preece will be talking to Chairman Terry Robinson this week as they try to bring a goalscorer in and halt their slide down the table.
The Shakers have picked up just six points from the last 42, following Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Northampton.
Preece gave youngster Chris Armstrong -- brother of Burnley's Gordon -- his league debut and Indian striker Baichung Bhutia retained his free role in midfield.
But they fell behind in the second minute through John Hodge. Chris Swailes headed the Shakers level before the interval but a defensive howler allowed Marco Gabbiadini to net the winner for the Cobblers.
Preece was furious with his experienced defenders for both goals, and the youngsters may well return next Saturday's game with promotion hopefuls Stoke City.
