SEASON SO FAR
After a decent start to the season Scunthorpe have stuttered over the last few weeks, failing to win in their last six league games.
Their home form is better than their away record -- they have won just twice away from home.
MANAGER
Brian Laws: The former Burnley, Huddersfield, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Grimsby full-back led Scunthorpe to promotion from DivisionThree in his first season at the helm.
His only other managerial position was at Grimsby Town.
ONE TO WATCH:
Bjarni Larusson: Icelandic midfield man Larusson caught the eye in the first game at Turf Moor. He ran the show from central midfield and was always eager to try his luck from in front of goal. Larusson was signed last summer from Walsall.
BIG MONEY MAN
Steve Torpey: Torpey, the club skipper, cost a club record £175,000 from Bristol City last February. The former Bradford and Swansea striker has formed a potent partnership with Guy Ipoua and has nine goals to his name this season.
PREDICTED LINE-UP
Scunthorpe are likely to stick with the same side that played in the 2-2 draw at Burnley just over a week ago except for the return of Gareth Sheldon from suspension.
Centre half Russ Wilcox missed the defeat at Chesterfield with 'flu and was replaced by Stuart Thom, who may keep his place.
TOP SCORER
Guy Ipoua: Big striker Ipoua scored his 17th goal of the season in the first clash at Turf Moor and had another disallowed in the 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield on Saturday.
DID YOU KNOW?
Scunthorpe last reached the fourth round of the FA Cup 17 years ago, in the 1983/84 season. Burnley have been in the fourth round just twice since 1983, including last season when they went out to Coventry.
