VISITORS to the FJ Nichols pub in Blackburn did a double-take as they ordered their drinks when they realised the bar staff were schoolgirls.
All eleven male and female employees at the pub, in Northgate, wore school uniforms throughout the night to raise money for Broadlands Special Needs School (see picture).
Around £100 was collected which will go towards the cost of a new mini-bus for the school.
Assistant manager Joanne Calf said: "The lads got some stick from customers and people kept asking us to dance like Britney Spears.
"We were all enjoying ourselves. We were playing hopscotch at the back of the pub and some of the customers were joining in."
Staff will take part in charity theme nights at the pub on the first Friday of every month.
The next event will have a doctors and nurses theme for the Queen's Park Hospital baby unit. The March event will be cowboys and Indians for the Only Foals and Horses charity.
