WHY should English finals be played on a Welsh ground?
Wales play theirs in Wales, the Scots play theirs in Scotland.
Why can't they play ours in England -- Old Trafford holds easily 58,000 and Anfield can also hold a very large number. There are many grounds fit to stage these events without them leaving England.
To desecrate Wembley -- the Towers, the ground -- is beyond belief.
They cannot keep their hands off anything sacred.
Millions and millions have walked down Wembley Way and seeing those twin towers made a fantastic day for them.
I have been one of them. I have been to Wembley six times, taking my son and two grandsons.
I know I shall never go to Wales, not for anything and I suppose there will be many more like me.
