IN response to Sara Worrall (Sports Letters, January 9), could it be that this fan of a great club is somewhat hypnotised by what Stephen Cummings writes?
Any Rovers fan, reading between the lines, can distinguish petty jealousy and bitterness from a columnist who should stick to writing common sense and facts about his own team.
Phil Lloyd's column is Rovers through and through with no animosity towards any other North West team. He gives facts and statements true to the club.
In reading Mr Cummings column, we Rovers fans observe with amusement and disbelief that one man can resent another North West team so much. Should Mr Cummings' good work be solely devoted to his beloved club, then it would be solely read by Burnley fans and not laughed at by us Rovers fans.
