STAN Ternent seems not to be bothered about making 20 strange tactical decisions because, if only one of them comes off, he can reap the plaudits.
He is ready to take the attention away from the poor performances by calling the fans 'morons' for booing his players.
As was the case with Paul Cook earlier in the season, the fans aren't booing Ronnie Jepson -- they're booing Ternent for playing him in the first place.
Stan even asked the fans not to boo his players, but to direct their frustrations at him, yet when they do he can't take it.
At the beginning of the season, Stan was insisting that he had a good enough squad, now he's saying that he needs to strengthen.
Even after saying he needs to strengthen, he lets three strikers go and over Christmas we were left short on the ground.
What's wrong with Anthony Shandran instead of Ronnie on the bench? Why do we always finish with a better side than we start.
I'd like to know if any Burnley fans have ever been truly confident in Stan and I don't want to hear "Look at where we are now to where we were two years ago" -- I mean "confident."
Stan says once the players are over the white line he has no control because he can't kick the ball himself.
So that means it's the players who have got us where we are now and sometimes Stan's tactics have nearly cost us points.
I can't remember if Stan has made any inspired substitutions or changed a team for the better to face a certain opposition.
The fact is, that with the current squad, he can't find a winning formula nor can he instill confidence in his players.
The most important thing to him is to do it his way no matter what the majority think.
So come on, Stan, listen to us fans.
We may just be the fans but we aren't thick.
Believe it or not, some of us do know what we are talking about.
SHAUN BELL, Barrowford.
