A COMPANY has unveiled a new £100,000 cash and carry operation at its headquarters in Blackburn.
Commercial kitchen suppliers Prisma have made the investment at their Greenbank Technology Park headquarters.
Included in the new system is a call centre, staffed by six trained personnel, and brand new computing facilities designed to efficiently manage data.
The new cash and carry area also stocks commercial catering equipment for regional businesses.
Keith Anderson, group sales and marketing director at Prisma, believes that the investment continues to improve their offer to the catering community.
He said: "This level of development makes us well placed to grow into future offering facilities and equipment that our competitors cannot, and in the next few months we will be opening our southern office, enhancing our position in the national marketplace. What's good for Prisma is ultimately good for Blackburn and our 100 employees."
