POLICE in St Helens have issued a warning following the theft of drugs from an address in Haresfinch on Tuesday, January 9.
The drugs were inside a black Puma holdall bag which was also stolen and are used in the treatment of diabetes. They included 16 18mg gliclazide (marked with a g) and 15 850mg metformin (marked flig).
Both drugs, which reduce the level of sugar in the blood, could be dangerous, particularly if taken by children.
