MEMBERS of the public attended a community crime and home safety information exhibition at Derbyshire Hill Youth and Community Centre.
As well as the provision of smoke detectors and advice on protecting the home, there was also information on employment opportunities, education and training, welfare and staying healthy.
The information day followed two public meetings held earlier in the year by St Helens Council to tell residents of Parr, Hardshaw and Broad Oak about a new bid to cut crime and improve safety in the area.
