POLICE are appealing for information after a severely disabled old lady was duped by a callous thief.
At around 12.30pm on January 28 a man tricked his way into the pensioner's house on Boston Avenue, Blackpool, where he tried to persuade her to have her drive concreted.
He then made off with more than £30 and a diamond and garnet ring she was wearing which was worth more than £200.
The conman is described as being between 40 and 50-years-old , approx. 5ft 11ins tall, with light brown spiky hair.
He was wearing a dark suit with a greyish shirt and tie.
A 15-year-old Blackpool schoolboy was left bruised and battered after two men attacked him on January 8.
The incident happened in an alleyway between Albert Road and Charnley Road at around 9.30pm.
One of the men held a rusty knife to the boy's throat while the other stole a £10 note from him.
Both men were dressed in black and were more than 5ft 11ins tall.
One man wore a hood, while the other had blonde dreadlocks down to his neck.
A student was attacked by a woman and two men on January 4 as he walked along the promenade near the Coral Island amusement arcade in Blackpool. The woman asked the student for a cigarette but after refusing he was knocked to the ground by the men who kicked him sveral times about the head and body.
They made off with his wallet which contained £5 and a number of cards.
The woman is described as being heavy set and wearing a light coloured horizontally striped t-shirt.
One of the men is described as being in his early 20s, 5ft 6ins and wearing a blue sports jacket.
The other is said to be 5ft 8ins with short black hair and distinctly bushy sideburns.
A BAG containing £1200 was stolen from a cafe manager at around 3.45pm on January 8.
The purple C&A bag was grabbed from the man on Birley Street, Blackpool, as he was taking the cash to the bank.
The robber is described as being 5ft 10ins, under 30 years of age with dark brown collar length hair and of medium build.
He was wearing a green jacket and denim jeans.
