I DISAGREE with "Retired of Fleetwood." I am not vitriolic, I am more determined than ever to continue the campaign to protect the levels of care provided to ALL the elderly across the Fylde coast.
I repeat my offer to attend a public debate on the many issues involved.
Never once have local Labour MPs admitted this is about money-saving cuts to care services. They should come clean and inform us why this Labour Government put pressure on Councils to reduce care spending.
It could cause far more expense for the NHS when less basic care leads to more expensive medical care in the long run.
Local MP Joan Humble is an expert on Social Services. Yet she failed to answer my detailed questions about setting up an independent rating system that accurately measures the levels of care provided in ALL care homes.
My campaign will not stop so long as care staff and relatives ask me to continue.
