PRESTON North End take on mid-table Wolves at home on Saturday (January 20) as they look to get back to winning ways following a miserable run of form.
The Lilywhites will be hoping for a display like the second half showing against Blackburn when they nearly overturned a three goal deficit in a pulsating second half display.
However it will not be easy for North End as they struggle with injury and illness -- and one departing player!
Skipper and defensive stalwart Sean Gregan is likely to be ruled unfit, with American striker Brian McBride having a scan on his troublesome ankle injury on Monday but is rated doubtful for Saturday's clash.
Icelandic forward Bjarki Gunnlaugsson is also likely to be added to the injury list with a hip problem, but Scot winger Iain Anderson, who has missed the last few games with a hamstring injury, has an outside chance of being match ready.
Wolves, who are three places below Preston North End in the league, are unbeaten in the last three games and have looked impressive under new boss David Jones.
Wolves' players to look out for are left back Lee Naylor, England under-21 player, Joe Lescott, centre half, Keith Andrews, midfield, who has played for Ireland's under-18 squad and 19-year-old Adam Proudlock, who has scored six league goals after being loaned out to Scottish team Clyde at the start of the season.
Yet North End will be looking to new signing David Healy and golden boy Jon Macken for inspiration following an unlucky run of form.
Healy, who has scored twice since his £1.5 million signing from Premier leaders Manchester United three weeks ago, will be desperate to score at Deepdale on Saturday following his third-minute header against Sheffield United and a spot-kick against bitter rivals Blackburn Rovers.
