MANAGER Steve McMahon is on the lookout for a striker to boost Blackpool's
firepower. He feels the team needs extra back up in case Brett Ormerod or John Murphy are injured.
DEFENDER Brian Reid has completed the signing of his permanent contract with Blackpool. The club has payed Reid's former club Dunfermline £20,000.
MIDFIELDER Richard Wellens is the latest Pool player to sign a contract with the club. This means most of the squad are now committed to staying at Bloomfield Road.
