WINNING entries in a children's poetry competition are on display in the Regency Room at Towneley Hall, Burnley.
Six winners were picked from more than 1,000 entries from youngsters aged between 7 and 16 in the competition run by Burnley Borough Council.
Entrants were asked to write a short poem about trees or woods and write it on a paper leaf.
The presentation of prizes, including a CD Walkman, a camera and computer games, will take place on Friday, January 26 at 4pm in Towneley Hall.
