WHILE shoppers are making the most of a farmers' market in Colne town centre they will be served up a tasty treat by Nelson and Colne College students.
The college's award winning catering department will cook up mouth-watering dishes at the market from 9am to 4pm tomorrow, 20th.
The markets are at Nelson town centre on the first Saturday and at Colne's outdoor market on the third Saturday of every month.
Ten stalls will sell cheese, yogurt, eggs, ice cream and sausages and other produce. All sellers must be the producer or work in the production on the farm in order to take part.
Sharon Livesey, of the Council's Estates Office.
She, said: "We are gradually increasing the number of stalls at the farmers' markets and have been very pleased by the level of interest shown by the public.
"We are keen to hear from any other local producers who may wish to have a stall on the farmers' market.
