TYLDESLEY top of the table trip to Trafford MV brought them a 20-8 victory - their 13th in a row.
Eddie Wallbank hit a well struck penalty after 15 minutes and Tyldesley went close to scoring tries through Mark Swanton and Lee Berrisford.
Skipper Lee Cunliffe burst clear to score from 40 metres and Wallbank converted. Trafford pulled three points back with a penalty but when Cunliffe was stopped short, Darren Edge used the recycled ball to good effect by scoring the try.
At 15-3 up Tyldesley looked to have the game sewn up but the home side managed to work a try out of nothing. However clean lineout ball from Shotton and Woodward and astute kicking from David Sivill allowed Tyldesley to make good yardage and Berrisford was quickest to a loose ball as he left the cover defence in his wake to score the final try.
Tyldesley's second team cruised to a comprehensive win over Trafford running in six tries in a 42-8 win. Two tries apiece came from John Fetherston and Steve Palin and one each from Dean Waterworth and Stewart Ashurst. Ian Worsfold landed five goals.
