A COMMITMENT to the provision of quality training for its own staff has enabled an East Lancashire training organisation to achieve the Investors In People recognition.

With support from ELTEC, Training Solutions (Burnley) Ltd has reached the nationally-recognised standard, even though the firm has only been operational seven months.

The company is steadily building a good reputation, offering high levels of IT training and web room facilities.

It realised the Investors In People would help mould and develop training for its eight staff, said managing director Chris Wareing. "We wanted to make the best start possible, by working towards approved guidelines which would point us all in the right direction.

"Investors in People has helped us do this while being an effective morale boost for everyone. It is reassuring to know we are on the right tracks!

"It also helps to make other companies and potential clients aware of the quality services we offer and will hopefully give them the confidence to work with us in the future."

The IT training programmes offered by the company include the European Computer Driving Licence and a number of Microsoft Office programmes.

More than 800 East Lancashire employers have recognised the value of working towards the standard.
