CAR repair specialist Briarcroft Service Centre has relocated in Atherton town centre.
Proprietor Paul Taylor had to hurriedly find new premises when the Leigh Road filling station from where he operated was closed by fuel giants Total Fina Elf.
Now settled behind Travel World at the rear of 110a Market Street Paul is continuing under the Briarcroft name.
This week he said: "I started at Briarcroft straight from Mornington High School at Hindley. It was a bit of a shock when the petrol company decided to close the filling station the week before Christmas. There were three of us in Leigh Road, now there's just me but I am hoping to take on a YTS trainee."
The closure also hit Paul in the pocket. Vandals wrecked a Mazda pick-up truck before he had time to move it off the garage site after the station closed.
