EIGHT local owners and their dogs who have taken part in the Good Dog Citizen scheme run by Rossendale dog warden Dave East are to give a demonstration at the Crufts dog show in March.
Mr East said: "They will be representing Lancashire at the show which runs from March 8 to 11."
He said the dog sessions held at Bacup Leisure Hall were now so popular that they were having to turn people away.
The animals are trained to do things right and proper when in the community.
The first of a series of sessions especially for puppies attracted more than a dozen entries.
The pups will take part in an eight week course. They will be assessed on a points system and all will be presented with a certificate and rosette.
