I WOULD like to thank Mrs S Brennan (Letters, January 4) for caring so much to write to your page and show concern for my loss.
No, my purse was not returned .
I see now that, like Mrs Brennan, I have become a member of the weakest link in today's society and will now in the future be aware of the person next to me and I will have thoughts of unease.
But one thing no-one can take away is the memories of what I once held close to me.
LYNN LIGHTBOWN (Mrs), Moorgate Street, Blackburn.
