BUS services in West Craven will be disrupted over the next fortnight because of a road closure.
Earby Road, Salterforth was due to be closed between Kelbrook Road and Chapel Hill from today for two weeks.
Stagecoach's "mainline" bus service between Barnoldswick and Earby will operate via Kelbrook rather than Earby Road. A replacement service 128 will operate between Sandhills Close, Salterforth, and Earby via Northolme estate on Monday to Saturday. The service will connect with other services at Earby bus station.
On Sundays a taxi service will operate between Northolme estate and the bus station only.
The evening service 28 operated by Tyrer Tours will continue to serve Northolme and Salterforth along Kelbrook Road.
School services will also be affected. Service 646 to St Joseph's RC Primary, Barnoldswick, will operate ten minutes earlier than usual. Service 927 to West Craven High, Barnoldswick, will serve Northolme. Children who normally catch the bus in Salterforth will board in Kelbrook Road.
