THE Save Our Shakers bandwagon heads for The Theatre of Dreams in a few weeks time - powered by the Bury Times.
That's when a huge fundraising dinner in the Manchester Suite at Manchester United Football Club, Old Trafford is to be held.
Sponsored by the Bury Times Group, guest of honour at the function on Monday, March 5 is Scotland manager Craig Brown with highly-rated Liverpudlian comedian Sean Styles also in attendance.
MC for the evening is Neville Neville and there's sure to be a big demand for tickets priced at £35 each.
Reception is 7.15pm for 7.45pm and dress is lounge suit.
Despite a £380,000 windfall following the sale of former Shaker David Johnson from Ipswich to Nottingham Forest the club are desperate to raise another £200,000.
That's the figure that would keep them afloat to the end of the current campaign when a crucial financial restructuring could take place.
Bury Times Group Commercial Manager Paul Hilton said: "We are delighted to take this opportunity to help out Bury FC at this difficult time.
"Like the Bury Times, the Shakers are an institution in the town and hopefully we can help them sail into calmer financial waters."
Company tables can be booked by contacting Neville Neville on 0161-272 1462 or Shakers commercial manager Peter Young on 0161-705 2144.
Book early to avoid disappointment!
