A VOLUNTEER at Blackburn Cathedral shop was presented with a clock when she retired after 12 years' service.
Minnie Lewine, of Rolleston Road, Blackburn, is leaving to live closer to her son in Southport, and was thanked for all her work by the Dean, the Very Rev David Frayne.
He said: "She was one of our most committed volunteers and would always come in on bank holidays and in emergencies. She befriended all the volunteers and she will be very much missed."
Minnie is pictured with Canon David Gallilee, left, and the Very Rev David Frayne, Dean of Blackburn Cathedral, who is presenting her with a retirement gift.
