THE Master of Holcombe Harriers should not try to invoke sentiment for the fate of the hunt's dogs (LET, January 16).
They will be killed anyway eventually -- whatever Parliament decides.
Hunting dogs have a very short life -- whoever heard of them dying of old age? They are killed as soon as their hunting life is finished, maybe at the age of three.
