AS the year 2000 has ended, may I thank the Lancashire Evening Telegraph for everything you have done for me and your readers?
It is hard to believe that I have done all I set out to do in my sponsored swims for charity. To see them reported in your paper made the adrenalin flow faster.
For 2001, I have again filled in the forms to take part in Sharron Davies' 11th Swim For Life Appeal from January to December, completing 22 miles at Mercer Hall Baths in Great Harwood -- this time in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
I will do my best and again try to help those who cannot help themselves.
