A COLNE school provided a study in excellence when Ofsted inspectors called.
The school standards team spent two days at Park Primary and found leadership and management at the 370-pupil school "outstanding".
Staff created an exciting and caring environment in which pupils were fully supported and enabled to learn.
Head teacher Andrew McIlroy, teachers and governors effectively communicated their high expectations of learning and behaviour to which pupils responded most positively, said inspectors.
They concluded: "The school's very considerable strengths far outweigh any weaknesses identified.
"It serves its pupils and the community very well indeed and provides very good value for money."
Inspectors said the quality of teaching was consistently high and a real strength across the whole school, with 90 per cent of lessons good or better and half of lessons very good or excellent.
The Ofsted team found no major areas of weakness but suggested there should be more opportunities for children to work with computers and that there should be outdoor play provision for the very youngest pupils.
Their report said parents had a very positive view of the school and fully endorsed the values it promoted.
The inspectors concluded: "Park Primary is an excellent school."
