HOSPITALS were stocking up with extra equipment and supplies to treat possible Gulf War casualties.
The Regional Health Authority wrote to Blackburn and Burnley hospital managers with suggestions that retired doctors and nurses could be called up to help out and that staff trained in the care of burns patients could also be in demand.
