TWO people were injured when three vehicles were involved in a collision.
The accident happened on Friday (Jan 19) in Bolton Road, close to its junction with Waterloo Street in Bury.
A Bedford van, driven by 70-year-old Mr Harry Pilling from Wood Street, Bury, collided with a Ford Transit van which in turn collided with an Audi car.
The Ford driver, Mr David Higginson (28) from Littleborough, and the owner of the Audi, Mr Stephen Kay (46) from Bolton escaped injury.
However, Mr Pilling and Miss Karen Flynn (30) from Rochdale, who was a passenger in the Ford Transit, were both taken to Bury General Hospital for treatment to minor cuts and bruising. Both were later allowed home.
