A TYPICAL Northern pub holds a host of characters in Darwen Library Players' latest production, entitled To.
Jenny Billingsley, of the Players, said: "It takes an ordinary evening and explores the life of the landlord, landlady and customers.
At first nothing seems strange, but they all have their tragedies, which are told with humour and sympathy."
To was originally written for the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, with Brookside actors Sue Johnston and John McArdle playing all the parts, but the Players have opted for a full cast.
The play will be performed on Friday and Saturday, 26 and 27 January, Tickets cost £5 or £3.50.
