TWO youngsters proved they were top of the cops after winning a Lancashire Police contest.
Simone Strang, 11, and Josie Cayton, nine, both of Leyland, each won a bike in a design competition to create a new character.
Their winning efforts - chosen out of hundreds of entries - will be published on the Lancashire Constabulary's website.
Simone and Josie's designs will be used to promote anti-bike theft initiatives.
They will be presented with their new bikes at Leyland police station by Chief Superintendent Paul Harry on February 1.
