LOVING foster homes are needed for the pets of women and children in East Lancashire who are trying to escape domestic violence.
Charity Paws for Kids arranges temporary accommodation for pets while their owners go into refuges, so they can be reunited with their animals when they find new homes.
Volunteer Dawn Ainsworth is trying to find more foster homes in East Lancashire.
She said: "I've worked for Paws for Kids for a year and really enjoy it.
"I get great satisfaction in helping the women, children and animals."
