A CLOTHING firm with order books bursting at the seams has got training all sewn up.
Traditional Lancashire garment making skills are alive and thriving at Chorley-based Norseman (Rainwear) Ltd and workers have got the certificates to prove it.
Machinists Lynne and Denise Cartwright were presented with their NVQ level two awards by managing director Tony Luber.
The women had to follow a practical training course with regular assessments.
Newly-qualified Lynne Cartwright said: "I have always been interested in fashion and now that I can sew I can make my own clothes."
Mr Luber said: "We have an active NVQ training programme here and welcome anyone who wishes to become a machinist to join us."
