SOCCER: Bury slipped closer to the Division Two relegation zone after falling to a 1-0 loss to Brentford at Gigg Lane last night.
Andy Preece's men have just one victory in 15 games -- picking up just seven points from a possible 45 -- and are just three places above the drop zone.
Lloyd Owusu's 55th strike settled the tie for the Bees -- he turned in the box after Bury's defence gave the striker time and space. Former Burnley forward Paul Barnes had a couple of chances to level but fired over.
One plus point for the Shakers was the performance of teenager Chris Armstrong, brother of Clarets player Gordon, who played the full 90 minutes in defence.
