ROAD RALLY: The Blackburn-based Audi dealers Lookers will sponsor the Hall Trophy road rally on March 10-11.
Organised by Clitheroe DMC, the event comprises 175 miles on OS maps 98,102 and 103, starting at the Lookers Eanam showroom and finishing at the Wellsprings, Sabden.
New for 2001 is the inclusion of a competitive forest section, and there will be a clubman's category for drivers without a competition licence.
The Hall Trophy will count towards the ANCC, ANWCC, Cumbria MSG and SD34 championships with entry fee set at £45.

The Derby track has taken the April 14 date in the calendar with the 165-minute race featuring factory-entered Audis, winners of the Le Mans 24-hour race last year. PowerTour record POWERTOUR: The 2001 PowerTour motorsport series is set to enjoy a bumper season thanks to record level of entries. Both the Green Flag F3 and Privilege Insurance British GT Championship are expected to field over 30 cars at each event.
Blackpool-based TVR will contest the GT category together with Marcos, Lister, Porsche, Lotus, Chrysle Viper and Ferrari.
The six PowerTour championships, together with guest races, are expected to draw around 250 cars to each show, with the paddock at each meeting featuring more than 70 articulated trailers. Flying Finn REVIEW: The 2000 World Rally Championship will be remembered for the performance of one man -- Marcus Gronholm.
Rank outsider before the season started, the flying Finn had a contract with Peugeot to drive selected rounds in support of their main drivers.
But Gronholm defied the odds, beating rivals Richards Burns, Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz to win the championship at his first attempt.
Duke Video has launched an official review of WRC2000 which captures the essence of a memorable season and gives fans a permanent record of a championship that revitalised world rallying.
On-board camera footage -- including McRae's stomach-churning roll down a Corsican mountainside -- spectacular trackside action and authoritative commentary combine to give fans a ringside seat at the World Rally Championship.
Priced at £14.99 (£16.99 by mail order) FIA World Rally Championship Review 2000 is available from leading video outlets or direct from Duke Video, tel: 01624 640000.
