MICHELLE Murray has the key to her dream career in her own hands -- and she is aiming to make it come true, with a little help from the Prince's Trust and St Helens Chamber.
For the 22-year-old from Primrose, Grove, Haydock, has set up a clinic specialising in sports injuries.
A former athlete herself, having run for the county at 100 and 200 metres as a member of the Pilks Harriers and then Sutton St Helens clubs, Michelle had always dreamed of starting her own clinic.
And the qualified advanced sports therapist told the Star: "After completing my studies at Warrington Collegiate, I heard about the Prince's Trust and how they help young people interested in setting up their own businesses."
She then approached St Helens Chamber of Commerce and Business Link and after drawing up a business plan she was awarded a Prince's Trust loan of £2,200 to get her started.
Now Michelle's Result Sports Injuries Clinic is up and running within the Millennium Health and Fitness Gym in Station Road, Haydock. And she has already 'signed up' the Haydock Amateur Rugby League Club squad as clients, as well as having worked with Saints players by taking them through pre-match warm-ups.
Michelle added: "As an athlete myself, I know how important it is to get the best treatment for injuries. Setting up my own clinic is a dream come true for me and I will be aiming to give the best service to all my clients."
