POLICE are hunting a man who assaulted a woman and pushed her down an alley.
At around 2pm on Tuesday January 16 a man aged 20-25 grabbed the woman's hair and pushed her into the alley.
She managed the struggle free and the man apologised. He was 5ft 10ins, wearing a lumber jacket, red small check turquoise shell pants and a white/ grey woolly hat.
On January 12 a man was attacked by two men in the Aqualenium Night Club, Church Street, Preston, leaving him with facial and chest injuries.
Both men were aged 23-24. One was white with ginger hair, a goatee beard and was 6ft 2ins tall. His accomplice was 5ft 10ins, coloured and stocky.
Just after noon on January 14, a man claiming to be from the Water Board entered a 77-year-old woman's house in Broadway, Fulwood, carried out bogus tests and stole her handbag containing £60.
The man was wearing dark trousers and a blue anorak or jumper with white flashes. He was white, in his mid 20s, 6ft tall and spoke with a local accent. An 80-year-old woman had her purse snatched in Ward's End, Preston, at 2.20pm on January 13. While making his getaway the man was chased and dropped the purse.
He is described as 25 to 30, 5ft 6ins, medium build, with a scruffy appearance and wearing cream fleece and blue trousers.
Two boys threatened to stab a 15-year-old as he cycled along Aqueduct Street, Preston, on his Apollo mountain bike.
They chased the boy before stealing his bike. They are described as white and 16-17 years old. One was 6ft tall, slim, spotty and had crooked teeth. He was wearing a beige tracksuit top and black jeans.
The other was 6ft, slim, with blonde hair and wearing a black top, jeans and white trainers.
Two men stole £3,000 and Lottery cards from the Spar Supermarket, Garstang Road, on January 16. Both looked Italian but spoke with Irish accents. The men were aged 30-35 years old, stocky, with dark hair. They were both smartly dressed and wore brown leather jackets.
