THE new National Football Museum, which is based at Deepdale, Preston, will open to the public on Friday, February 16.
It will house collections of national and international football memorabilia including the FIFA Museum Collection -- recognised as the finest collection of its kind in the world.
The museum has been created at a cost of over £12 million with substantial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
It will be open from 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Saturdays and until 7.30pm on midweek match days.
On weekend match days it will be open from 10am to 2.30pm and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
