BISPHAM Junior Football Federation are to receive the highest accolade in junior football when they attend Lancashire FA Headquarters in Leyland on February 1.
Along with other successful clubs from around the country it is to receive the Football Association Charter Standard and will be accredited as an FA Charter Standard football development club.
On hand to present the award will be Liverpool striker Jamie Rednapp and his father Harry, the current manager of West Ham.
The Football Association Charter Standard recognises those clubs currently providing a quality football programme.
The objectives of the Charter include ensuring managers and coaches are qualified to FA junior manager standard; having an FA qualified head coach; a commitment to attend training opportunities; an active promotion of a code of conduct and a commitment to providing mini-soccer opportunities for under 10s.
Lancashire FA will use such Charter Standard Clubs as flagships when recommending clubs in the community.
BJFF chairman Nick Hewitson said: "This is the highest accolade a junior club can receive and we are delighted and very proud to accept it."
