I READ with interest the story (LET, January 18) about Leanne Brown and her 14-month old baby being left with no gas for cooking and heating for more than a week and her being unable to warm the child's bottle.
Was it beyond Leanne to boil a kettle, fill a bowl with water and warm her baby's bottle up in that?
Alternatively, she could have fed her baby with cereal also by adding water warmed up in a kettle.
I realise that a child cannot live on this alone, but there was no need for her baby to be going without some healthy food.
