BOOKWORMS at Derby High School in Bury were rewarded after taking part in a sponsored reading event to raise money for the Roald Dahl Foundation.
Pupils at the school took part in the "Readathon" and designed special bookmarks and front sleeves.
The best fund-raisers were given chocolates and a mug for their work.
And student Kim Lewis (12) is pictured showing off her handiwork, along with prize gifts awarded by the school.
Sponsorship money totalling £123 will go to the foundation in the name of the famous author of children's books, which funds research into childhood cancers. Money will also go to the Macmillan nurses.
