BURY Photographic Society will get more exposure on Saturday (Jan 27) when the Mayor of Bury, Councillor Bill Johnson, opens its annual exhibition.
Along with the winning prints shown here, there will be more than 200 other photographs on display, taken by the society's 80 members.
And pictured is one print, entitled "Mr Cool" by Nick Higham, which won the Don Kirkpatrick trophy for colour portrait and figure studies.
Exhibition secretary Mr Gordon Crossley said: "They are of a high standard and are quite varied. This year more creative processes have been used such as digital imaging."
The exhibition, at Bury Art Gallery and Museum, runs until March 3, giving you plenty of time to go along and admire the work of the talented local photographers.
Mr Crossley said: "We are one of the best clubs in the North West and would like as many people as possible to come along and appreciate the prints."
