POLICE are trying to trace a motorist who drove off after being involved in an accident in which three women were injured.
The collision happened in Cavalry Way, Burnley, near the Happy Eater roundabout at 3.15pm on Wednesday.
The women were in a Peugeot 106 which was stopped at the junction when the car was hit from behind by a light coloured F-registered saloon.
The Peugeot driver, Penelope Lewis, 33, of Whalley New Road and two passengers, Sally Fox, 58, of Neath Close and Alice Hobkirk, 60, of High Bank, all Blackburn, were taken to Burnley General Hospital where they received treatment for whiplash injuries before being allowed home.
