ON January 11 between 8am and 5.30pm a dog owner walked their dog(s) down Alder Close, off Chestnut Drive in Pennington to the Glaze Brook. The dog(s) viciously attacked my black Persian cat outside its home.
The heartless owner obviously saw what happened and walked away, leaving the cat for dead. I and other neighbours are sick to the back teeth of irresponsible dog owners removing their dogs' leads outside the houses in the cul-de-sac before reaching the field behind the houses. I do hope the dog owner whose dog attacked my cat is reading this, as I would like to thank you so much for walking away and not at least alerting a neighbour to the incident. Instead, you let me go in search of my cat only to find him dead.
