EXPORTING to the Euro Zone will come under the spotlight at a major seminar in Bury next Tuesday (Jan 30).
The event will coincide with the annual general meeting of Bolton and Bury Chamber's Bolton and Bury Export Club.
Local international traders are invited to attend the lunchtime seminar and AGM at Link House, Bury.
After the formal annual general meeting, which starts at 11am, representatives from the Euro Information Centre will outline the opportunities for utilising the single currency to sell to and buy from countries inside the Euro zone.
Bury exporter Toni Hankins of Rowe Hankins Components Ltd will also present a case study on how his company has adopted the Euro in its transactions with the majority of its European customers and suppliers.
When the Euro was first launched, the company was forced to make the currency change by two of its major customers.
Since then, Rowe Hankins has developed new technological systems to process multi currency orders on one account.
Overall, the company appreciates the advantages of being able to use a single currency.
Further details about the event are available from Neal Massey on (0161) 762 3300.
