A NEW free advice leaflet has been published to help inform older people and their relatives about residential and nursing home care.
Residential Care produced by Help the Aged aims to help people understand the care they can expect to receive and offers straightforward and impartial information.
Rachel Wheatley, senior information officer at Help the Aged, said: "Once older people and their relatives have read the leaflet they should be far more aware of the choices available to them when selecting residential care."
The leaflet is available from Help the Aged shops or by sending a self addressed envelope to the Information Department, (Res Care), Help the Aged, 207-221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ.
