DARWEN: Thieves have taken more than £2,000-worth of electrical goods from a house in Darwen.
They struck at the house on Olive Lane, some time between 2am and 10.30am yesterday, when they found the door open.
They took a Sony TV set, Thorn video recorder, Sony PlayStation, a JVC hi-fi system and about 25 PlayStation games worth a total of £2,188.
Det Sgt Ian Critchley of Darwen CID said: "Obviously, the value of goods stolen from this house is quite high and they are goods likely to be offered on the black market so if anyone is offered electrical goods at cheap prices, don't hesitate to contact us."
Anyone with any information should contact Darwen Police on 01254 701777.
