GLOSSOP 2 GREAT HARWOOD 0
GREAT Harwood were left to count the cost of missed chances as they lost at Glossop in NWCL Division One.
Warren Peake could have had a hat-trick inside the first 15 minutes, hitting the post and missing twice from close range.
Glossop scored through Dalrymple, after their first meaningful attack, just minutes before the break. And within five minutes of the restart, they'd got their second through Andy Levanis.
Harwood manager Denis Underwood said: "We had created chance after chance but couldn't put them away.
"This was probably one of the better first half performances this season, we did everything but score."
Harwood host local rivals Rossendale in Division One tonight but Andy Taylor and Neil Otley are doubtful after picking up knocks. New signing Dave Livesey could make his debut.
